Job Purpose: Your main role will be to manage portfolio of international customers efficiently and accurately and aim to maximize the profitability of the overall portfolio by identifying and providing financial solutions. Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse and filter requests from clients.
  • Discuss commercial terms with clients and examine their business structure.
  • Scrutinise the credit info required to assess applications.
  • Present / recommend proposals to the relevant sanctioning authority.
  • Initiate discussions with Credit Risk/ Risk / Compliance Team.
  • Monitor customer performance through regular review of accounts, customer visits and financial statements.
  • Ensure adherence to all control measures relative to approved facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with KYC Policies and operating procedures.
  • Operate as a team player, ensuring the achievement of the department's goals.
  • Monitor and motivate junior staff to ensure that optimum level of productivity and service standards are achieved.
  • Project professional business image, and promote and uphold the bank's values.
  • Structure appropriate financial solutions for customers.
  • Nurture business relationships with external customers and ensure timely service delivery.
  • Acquire and build business relationships with new customers and maintain good relationships with existing ones.
  • Maintain cordial relations with internal customers to work as a closely-knit team.
  • Promote a client-centric approach towards building successful and profitable business relationships.
  • Achieved contracted growth in assets, liabilities, net income and new customer acquisitions.
  • Monitor and maintain credit quality to ensure minimal non-performing advances.
  • Cross-sell products to maximize business from each connection.
  • Ensure adherence to control systems to minimize risk of loss to the bank.
  • Ensure cost control within the team.
Technical Skills & Behavioural Skills
  • Strong knowledge of the Central Bank’s guidelines and other relevant local legislation.
  • Strong marketing and sales skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore banking.
  • Ability to quickly pick up risk of Money Laundering.
  • Ability to drive business and deliver strong results.
  • Computer literate with sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent team spirit.
  • Proactive, dynamic and solution driven.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly numerate
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Banking/Finance or any relevant field, however a Master’s Degree would be more advantageous
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in the banking/offshore sector in a similar position.
