Business Process Analyst

Job Purpose:

As a key member of the Transformation Office, work on the redesign of customer journeys and internal processes by applying the appropriate methodologies and leveraging on technology to improve operational efficiency, employee, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:  
  • Conduct surveys, monitor complaints and identify pain points for analysis and finding opportunities to increase process efficiency
  • Identify, understand, assess business needs and clearly communicate to stakeholders the requirements to enable the design and implementation of the solution
  • Define metrics while designing/redesigning processes and monitor their performance against agreed targets
  • Continuously analyze, review, and redesign functional processes to eliminate variations, remove non value added activities, bottlenecks and delays
  • Design, configure and test workflows to improve operational efficiency
  • Develop and maintain business process documentations that will be used as a reference for preparing test cases, training documents, etc.
  • Coordinate the smooth integration of changes/ new business processes to minimize service disruptions
  • Provide quick win solutions to provide rapid efficiency gains to business while waiting for longer term technology solutions
  • Make recommendations on business process improvement that will have direct positive impact on the KPIs of the business.
  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
  • Present progress updates on initiatives to management and key stakeholders
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in financial services to identify potential business improvement opportunities
  Key Requirements:  
  • Bachelor degree in Banking/ Financial Services, Business, IT or related fields
  • At least 5 years’ working experience in similar field
  • Knowledge of business process analysis techniques and modelling tools
  • Six Sigma/ Lean knowledge and certification would be an advantage
  • Knowledge in Project Management techniques would be an advantage
  • Basic knowledge in scripting languages would be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and ability to communicate and create relationships at all levels in the organisation
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
