Exciting times at Bank One! We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and ambitious individual with high integrity to join its Products & Partnerships Unit as Bancassurance Specialist.

Job Purpose:

This position plays an important role in driving new revenue streams for the Personal Financial Services “PFS” business line. He/she will be a key player in rolling out  this strategic initiative and making it a success! Expected to work closely with the Sales team to Achieve Sales Targets, Engage with Partners & Strive for Customer Satisfaction.  

Job Responsibilities
  • Build business case for new wealth related products/initiatives.
  • Assist in the setting up of the business operating model which involve having the right product propositions, policies, processes, procedures in place and are adhering to the regulatory requirements.
  • Coach the sales team in understanding the customer needs and providing appropriate financial solutions based on their level of risk averseness. The one-stop financial advisory solutions may vary from insurance products such as life insurance, savings plan and retirement plans to investment products.
  • Create and maintain a strong sales culture focused on performance and positive customer experience and be responsible for measuring and monitoring the results. Closely track sales performance, communicate and take appropriate actions proactively.
  • Ensure strong cross- selling of existing and new products to existing and new clients; and in this process, maintain effective liaison with all relevant business units in the department as part of the overall partner engagement strategy.
  • Assist with implementation of Sales Planning and execution of initiatives, Campaigns and Business pipeline management. Will also be responsible for new and key initiatives for PFS.
  • Key liaison between internal/external relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery viz. Partners/Ops/CX/Sales team/Central team and others as required.
  • Cross-functional interactions for seamless customer experience and support to the Sales & Distribution team.
  • Ensure proper advisory procedures and documentation while adhering to the Bank’s internal policies, business processes and regulatory requirements through discussions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with Ops team to ensure smooth and reliable process.
  • Clear reporting and analyses to be shared with key parties.
  • Regularly gather feedback from customers, staffs as well as conduct competitive intelligence to continuously enhance our proposals and processes.
  • Proactively come up with proposals to expand range of Bancassurance/Wealth products offerings based on customer feedback with the aim to further build customer loyalty and increase in revenues.
  • Attend to staff/partners’/customers’ queries, requests, and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance to the Bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Must be pleasantly assertive and bring to the team lots of energy and enthusiasm, thrive on challenges.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Min Degree in / Finance/Banking/Marketing or any related field.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the insurance environment or any relevant sector.
  • Experience in Project Management/Bancassurance/Relationship Management/Data Analytics would be an advantage.
