Our Personal Financial Services is looking for Sales & Service Representative / Teller

 

Job Purpose:

    • Present, promote and sell Bank One’s products to the target market
    • Achieve monthly targets for sales of All Loans, Credit Cards and Other Retail Products.
    • Understand the customer needs and advise on appropriate financial solutions
    • Offer personalised and dedicated services
    • Provide efficient, courteous and error free services to customers
    • Handle cash and non-cash related transactions following prescribed procedures

 

Key Responsibilities:

As a Teller

    • Ensure that all cash and cheque and other transactions are performed as per the Cash Handling Policy and any other relevant policy.
    • Balance currency, coins and cheques in cash drawers.
    • Resolve problems and discrepancies concerning customers’ accounts
    • Ensure that all transactions done at counter are handled diligently and thereby preserving the bank from financial losses
    • Adhere to regulatory compliance and bank policies and procedures
    • Solve problems that arise on a day to day basis and that are within the role limit
    • Seek guidance from Line Managers where appropriate

 

As a Sales & Service Representative

    • Advise and propose most adapted financial solutions
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with business partners and customers
    • Ensure an outstanding level of service to all customers and monitor service standards
    • Promote and maintain positive relations with all contacts, customers and potential customers
    • Prompt handling of complaints
    • Conduct cross/upsell referral sales activities at every opportunity
    • Deal with customers with tact and courtesy

 

Technical Skills:

    • Marketing and sales skills
    • Good IT knowledge
    • Excellent spoken and written in English and French

Qualifications & Experience:

    • HSC (3 mains and 2 subsidiaries) or equivalent acceptable qualifications.
    • 1 year experience as teller in the banking sector would be an advantage
