Job purpose

The Technical Lead will be in charge of supervising technical projects. The main task of the role is to have a technical oversight over the transformation projects of the bank. The Technical Lead will facilitate and supervise the work done by the developers to ensure timely delivery and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capable of understanding and converting the business needs into requirements and provide corresponding solutions.
  • Attend meetings with the Transformation Team and business lines
  • Plan and supervise design and implementation work on Middleware
  • Coordinate with all IT Stakeholders for system readiness
  • Coordinate with Finacle Core Team for API readiness on Finacle FI
  • Monitor technical activities
  • Escalate risk and issues
  • Responsible for coordination, support with vendor team for any queries/issues related to the assigned application.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary-level qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems or related fields
  • A minimum of 7 years experience in IT preferably in the banking sector
  • Good knowledge in javascript and/or mobile applications
  • UNIX and Shell scripting, PL-SQL, Oracle-SQL, and related web application languages
  • Knowledge of design and implementation of REST and SOAP-based Web services
