Job Purpose:
Serves customers by providing product and service information; resolving product and service problems via telephone calls, website, email and social media.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
- Generate sales leads and ensure that customers’ needs are met effectively with high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies to ensure that applications/requests/queries from customers are addressed in an efficient and prompt manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls, perform outbound calls and handle inquiries by email in a timely and friendly manner.
- Evaluate problems and complaints of the callers and provide proper solutions to them.
- Respond to the needs of customers and provide personalized service.
- Provide information on the company’s products or services and generate interest in the offer.
- Upsell products and services.
- Identify any issues that customers might be struggling with.
- Report on customer feedback.
- Boost customer loyalty by offering a proper experience over the phone.
Technical & Behavioral Skills:
- Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service.
- Self-driven and proactive.
- Marketing and selling skills.
- High level of integrity and honesty.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic financial understanding of the banking products.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office tools.
Qualifications & Experience:
- HSC (3 mains and 2 subsidiaries) or equivalent acceptable qualifications.
- Previous experience in contact centre field would be an advantage.
