Post-COVID-19 : The decisive role of banks in relation to debt

The sudden and unexpected emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic has placed those who have borrowed (both individuals and corporates) in a very delicate position, especially the economic operators and salaried individuals whose income are closely dependent on the reopening of our borders. It is also a very challenging situation for the banks themselves as a whole cross-section of their clients that are normally regular in their debt servicing are suddenly faced with a massive reduction of income.
