How we help keep you safe

In-branch services and opening hours

  • We have implemented enhanced cleaning procedures for all frequently touched surfaces in all Bank One branches, such as ATMs, lifts, workstations, countertops, and doorknobs.
  • We have placed hand sanitizers in our branches for both our clients and colleagues. Our colleagues wear masks at all times.
  • We ensure social distancing guidelines are respected at all times in waiting areas and queues, as well as at our counters when serving clients. Our teams have received hygiene packs to better equip them to serve you safely.
  • Our ATM network around the island remains operational 24/7.
  • We have set up a ‘Senior Citizens Dedicated Counter’ in all Bank One branches to ease access to customers aged 60 and above.
  • We do communicate heavily on the importance to stay home. The Bank One Contact Centre remains reachable by phone on 202 9200 during opening hours or via our online contact form to help you make use of our Internet Banking, Mobile Banking and SMS Banking services.

Contactless Banking

  • Bank One debit and credit cards are contactless enabled, meaning that you just need to tap the card on card readers to make a payment, eliminating the need to touch the keypad to enter your PIN code. To help reduce the spread of the virus, we have raised contactless payment limits to Rs 3,000 per transaction and to Rs 6,000 per day.
To check whether your card is contactless enabled, look for the contactless symbol on the front of your card. Actual contactless transaction limits may vary depending on the terminal being used.
  • Internet Banking, Mobile Banking and SMS Banking remain the safest banking options amid the COVID-19 outbreak. They remain operational 24/7. You can find out more on our website www.bankone.mu/digital-banking. For help getting started, visit our Help Centre where you can find the Bank One Internet Banking User Manual and helpful video tutorials on both Internet and Mobile Banking. You can also call the Bank One Contact Centre during opening hours or via our online contact form. Our teams will be happy to help you register to and navigate our digital platforms.
  • If you need cash, our ATM network around the island remains operational 24/7. If at all possible, avoid handling cash to help reduce the spread. Favour online or contactless card payments whenever possible.
