Important Notice – Central Accounts Registry (CAR)

We wish to inform you that the Central Accounts Registry (CAR) has been established by the Bank of Mauritius under Section 52A of the Bank of Mauritius Act 2004.
The CAR has been put in place to support efforts to combat money laundering, terrorism financing and other financial crimes.

In accordance with the requirements of the Bank of Mauritius, financial institutions are required to submit specific customer account information to the CAR.

Please note that:

Only account-related information required under the regulatory framework is submitted to the CAR. Account balances and amounts held in your accounts are not included. Disclosure of account information collected on the CAR is restricted under the law.
Bank One Limited remains committed to protecting the confidentiality of customer information while complying with all applicable regulatory requirements.

This notice is provided for your information only and does not require any action on your part.
