Terms & Conditions

1. This competition, organised and promoted by BANK ONE LIMITED (“Bank”) of 16 Sir William Newton Street, Port Louis, 11328, Republic of Mauritius. It is open to residents of the Republic of Mauritius aged 18 years or over, except for employees in the Marketing Department of the Bank and their immediate families or anyone else who is directly associated with this competition.

2. All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all the rules of the competition, as imposed by the Bank, are accepted by each participant as being binding.

3. Participants will be asked to find the number of hidden Easter Eggs in a photo and comment their answers on the post. Participants will be able to enter the contest on the Bank One Facebook page. Multiple entries will not be considered.

4. Prizes will be awarded at the Bank’s discretion and no prizes will be awarded as a result of improper actions by or on behalf of any participant.

5. The Bank reserves the right to inform the winners (three winners) of the competition personally and the winners and/or the participants undertake to keep this information confidential until the official public announcement by the Bank.

6. The three winners of the competition will be randomly selected using a lucky draw software by our marketing agency Beyond Communications. Each winner will be entitled to a cash prize of Rs 1,000 amounting to a total cash prize value of Rs 3,000.

7. The winners’ names may be disclosed to anyone who requests same within one month from the published closing date of the competition through a stamped envelope addressed to ‘Bank One Limited, 16 Sir William Newton Street, Port Louis, 11328, Mauritius’.

8. Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Bank and accordingly the Bank may, at its absolute discretion, vary or amend these terms and conditions and/or the prize and the participant agrees that no liability, of whatsoever nature, shall attach to the Bank as a result thereof. The Bank shall not in any way be liable for any cost, expenses, damages, liability or injury arising out of or in connection with the competition or prizes or for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant as a result of participating in the competition or accepting any prize.

9. By virtue of Section 29 (1) of the Data Protection Act of 2004, the Bank will not disclose any personal data collected by way of this competition in any manner that is incompatible with the purposes for which such data has been collected.

10. The Bank shall, at any time, be entitled to terminate forthwith this competition, without being liable in any manner whatsoever, by giving 24 hours’ notice to the participants.

11. These Terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of Mauritius and the aggrieving parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Mauritius courts.
