Vacancy as Relationship Manager International Banking Department Liabilities
Job Purpose:
To market the bank's products, primarily the liability products with OMCs and international providers and to ensure meeting the liability target of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor customer performance through regular review of accounts, customer visits and financial statements.
  • Oversee the client onboarding process.
  • Ensure compliance with KYC Policies and operating procedures.
  • Operate as a team player ensuring the achievement of the department's goals.
  • Monitor and motivate junior staff to ensure that optimum level of productivity and service standards are achieved.
  • Project professional business image and promote and uphold the bank's values.
  • Nurture business relationship with external customers and ensure timely delivery of service.
  • Acquire and build business relationship with new customers and maintain good relationship with existing ones.
  • Maintain cordial relations with internal customers to work as a closely knit team.
  • Promote a client-centric approach towards building a successful and profitable business relationship
  • Achieve contracted growth in liabilities, net income, non-interest income and new customer acquisitions.
  • Cross-Sell products to maximize business from each connection.
  • Bring about innovative ideas and products in par with market conditions.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Central Bank’s guidelines and other relevant local legislations.
  • Strong marketing and sales skills.
  • Strong analytical and judgmental skills.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore banking.
  • Ability to quickly pick up risk of Money Laundering.
  • Ability to drive business and deliver strong results.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Banking/Finance or any relevant field would be an advantage.
  • 5+ years of overall experience in the financial sector with preferably two years’ experience in banking sector at managerial position.
  • Experience working in global business environment.
