Job Summary:

  • Responsible for achieving the business objectives of the Premier Banking department by managing a team of Premier Relationship Managers.
  • Take responsibility for the operation of the bank’s premier banking activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead in developing and implementing the strategy of the Premier Banking segment to enable achievement of revenue, profitability, set targets and customer satisfaction at both department and individual levels.
  • Manage customer segmentation strategies, specifically the delivery of a HNW proposition.
  • Develop with Marketing Department relevant offers/packages to meet the changing needs of customers and tap market opportunities.
  • Maintain and enhance customer relationships with existing and prospective customers to ensure business continuity and growth via events, newsletters and direct customer contacts.
  • Perform market analysis on a regular basis to better understand, anticipate and respond to customer needs.
  • Instill a Customer Centric Approach of high quality and timely service to customers.
  • Maintain and ensure due observance of regulatory compliance and bank policies and procedures.
  • Identify, report and resolve any irregularities to minimise any financial/reputation loss.
  • Monitor non-performing accounts (NPAs) with appropriate and prompt action plans for recovery of dues.
  • In-depth understanding of local market conditions and competitor activities.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Credit Risk procedures.
  • Strong marketing and selling skills.
  • Strong understanding of the local market and of banking products and services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both in English and French.
  • Good knowledge of the Central Bank’s guidelines and other relevant local legislation.
  • Good knowledge of Operational Risk, KYC and Anti-Money Laundering procedures.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Banking/Finance/Accounting or any relevant field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of solid and relevant experience in Relationship Management with 5 years of experience in leading a team of Relationship Managers.
