Job Purpose:
To assist RMs to manage portfolio of International customers with the aim to maximize profitability of overall portfolio by identifying and providing financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process in timely manner requests from customers.
  • Liaise with lines of business to ensure that all client's requests are attended within agreed deadline.
  • Take ownership of credit proposals and scrutinise credit info required to assess applications.
  • Coordinate with Credit Analyst to ensure all requests are attended to promptly.
  • Coordinate with Credit Risk, Credit Administration to ensure smooth credit processing, documentation, disbursement and post disbursement monitoring.
  • Act as backup for Relationship Managers during their absence (Client and business query resolutions).
  • Ensure all control measures relative to approved facilities are adhered to.
  • Ensure compliance with KYC Policies and operating procedures.
  • Operate as a team player ensuring the achievement of the department's goals.
  • Project professional business image, and promote and uphold the bank's values.
  • Structure appropriate financial solutions for customers with the guidance of the Relationship Manager
  • Acquire and build business relationships with new customers and maintain good relationships with existing ones.
  • Maintain cordial relations with internal customers to work as a closely-knit team.
  • Promote a client-centric approach towards building successful and profitable business relationships.
  • Monitor and maintain credit quality to ensure minimal non-performing advances.
  • Cross-sell products to maximize business from each connection.
  • Ensure adherence to control systems to minimize risk of loss to the bank.
  • Ensure cost control within the team.
Technical Skills & Behavioural Skills
  • Strong knowledge of the Central Bank’s guidelines and other relevant local legislation.
  • Strong marketing and sales skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to quickly pick up risk of Money Laundering.
  • Ability to drive business and deliver strong results.
  • Computer literate with sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent team spirit.
  • Proactive, dynamic and solution driven.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly numerate
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Banking/Finance or any relevant field, however a Master’s Degree would be more advantageous
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in the banking sector in a similar position.
  • Experience in offshore banking would be an advantage.
