Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum Degree holder in Property studies/Land Surveying or a Recognised Degree from a reputable institution in Real Estate.
  • Registered member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
  • At least five years of experience in the relevant field mainly in site surveying, previous experience in the banking sector will be an advantage.

Job Purpose

  • Periodic Monitoring and analysis of collaterals mortgaged with the Bank to ensure that their appraised values and estimated realization values are realistic as per guidelines by the Bank of Mauritius.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To carry out valuation exercise and prepare a valuation reports acceptable to the Bank.

Technical Skills:

  • Computer Literate and ability to use Microsoft Office tools.

  • Good Knowledge of the Mauritian real property market.

Behavioural Skills/ Competencies:

  • Analytical and organizational skills.

  • Customer and detail oriented.

  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent team spirit.

  • Proactive, dynamic and solution provider.
